New to Touch Football? Welcome!

Whether you’re looking to stay fit, try a new sport, or get outdoors with family and friends, Touch Football is one of the most accessible and enjoyable sports in Australia.

Here’s why it’s fantastic for beginners, social groups, and families:

  • Easy to Learn Rules: The fundamentals are simple - run forward, pass backward, six attempts to get to your attacking end and tap the ball on the ground in the in-goal area to score a try. And to defend, just touch the opposition. You’ll pick up the basics by the end of your first match.

  • Everyone Stays Engaged: With only six players on the field and unlimited substitutions, everyone gets plenty of game time and is actively involved in the game. No sitting around waiting for action.

  • Low Contact, Great Workout: Enjoy the speed, agility, and thrill of footy without any tackling or hard hits. It’s a great cardio workout that’s gentle on the body.

  • Inclusive & Social: Play alongside friends, family, or workmates across Mixed, Men’s, and Women’s divisions. All fitness levels, experience levels, and backgrounds are welcome!

  • Affordable Sport: Compared to many seasonal team sports, touch football offers low registration fees and minimal equipment requirements - just grab some basic boots and numbered shirts (or bibs) and you’re good to go!

  • Juniors & Youth: Dedicated Spring into Summer junior program, designed to build fundamental movement skills, teamwork, and confidence tailored to all age groups.

  • Representative Sport: For players looking to challenge themselves, our representative pathway lets you take your game to the next level with interclub matches against other teams from across the state.
